Who We Are

Our Journey with Lone Star Black Belt Academy started 7 1/2 years ago. We were looking for something to help our son who had ADHD and could not focus nor sit still. We joined Lone Star and we were quickly Impressed on the way the staff taught the children and how patient they were with children with special needs. Chandler went from not being able to sit still to now taking 4 classes back to back and has been able to focus and pay attention through it all. Lone Star was the first karate school we ever tried and boy am I glad we did! We not only found the help for our son but we found family as well!! Steven Jackson and the staff are great with kids of all ages and backgrounds! 

 Our journey with Lone Star Black Belt Academy has been nothing short of exceptional! My son began training at LSBBA in January 2021, and I joined in late 2024. We’ve been consistently impressed by the Academy’s positive values, such as discipline, respect, and perseverance, which have deeply impacted our family. The staff is exceptional, connecting with both kids and parents in a supportive, engaging way that makes every lesson enjoyable. We chose Lone Star over other schools for its commitment to building character and fostering a strong sense of community, and we look forward to continuing our journey here for years to come.
